In this installment of the Future Grind podcast host Ryan O’Shea sits down with Adam Hofmann, the Vice President of Marketing for Singularity University. Singularity University describes itself as a global learning and innovation community using exponential technologies to tackle the world’s biggest challenges and build a better future for all. It was founded in 2008 by Peter Diamandis and Ray Kurzweil, and currently offerers online and in-person educational programs for individuals, incubator programs for startups, and leadership and innovation trainings for organizations. SU also focuses on media - they put out content through SingularityHub, and just recently announced their acquisition of Futurism, a digital media company that with capabilities in both distribution and production.
They discuss SU’s goal of using exponential technology to conquer the world’s biggest challenges, their focus on online communities, a future of abundance, and much more.
